# Socketman App Privacy Policy

Socketman App refers to the software developed by the Socketpower organization (hereinafter referred to as "the Software").

1. This "Socketman App Privacy Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") applies to all products and services of Socketman App, including its website, macOS desktop application, Windows desktop application, and all other terminal clients.

2. Before using any products and/or services of Socketman App, please read and fully understand the entire content of this Policy. By using or continuing to use Socketman App's products/services, you agree to our use and processing of your information in accordance with this Policy.

3. We may periodically update this Policy to comply with laws, regulations, or operational adjustments. When changes occur, we will notify you through prominent notices, push notifications, or messages after version updates.

4. You understand that we will only collect, use, process, and store your personal information under the updated Policy after you confirm and accept the changes. You have the right to refuse the updated Policy. However, please note that refusal may result in partial or complete loss of access to the Software's services and features, or failure to achieve our intended service quality.

## 1. Scope of Use

- 1.1 Personal registration information you provide when creating an account for the Software;
- 1.2 Information automatically received and recorded by the Software during your use of its services or website visits, including but not limited to IP address, browser type, language, access date/time, hardware/software characteristics, and webpage history;
- 1.3 User data obtained legally from commercial partners;
- 1.4 Data collected based on your interactions with us, privacy settings, and product features used. This may include browser type, IP address, platform, device model, operating system version, etc.

The following information is excluded from this Policy:
- Activities violating laws, regulations, or Software rules, and measures taken by the Software in response.

## 2. Use of Information

- 2.1 The Software will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to unrelated third parties without your prior consent, except when such third parties (including affiliates) collaborate to provide services to you, after which they will be prohibited from accessing your data.
- 2.2 The Software prohibits third parties from collecting, editing, selling, or freely disseminating your personal information. Users engaging in such activities will have their service agreements terminated immediately.
- 2.3 To serve you better, the Software may use your information to provide tailored content, including product/service updates or sharing data with partners (with your prior consent) for promotional purposes.
- 2.4 For cloud synchronization functionality, your email account data will be uploaded to our servers and encrypted using your private key. Without this key, we cannot decrypt your files.

Your personal information may be disclosed under the following circumstances:
- With your prior consent;
- When necessary to provide requested products/services;
- As required by law, administrative, or judicial authorities;
- If you violate Chinese laws, regulations, or the Software's terms of service;

Information collected by the Software will be stored on servers operated by the Software and/or its affiliates. This data may be transferred to, accessed from, stored in, or displayed in jurisdictions outside your country/region.
